New TCRG podcast launched, Tobacco Tactics, updated 28 January 2025, accessed 01 January 2026.
Today the Tobacco Control Research Group released the first episodes of its new podcast series, Deadly Industry: Challenging Big Tobacco. Each episode reveals the tactics of the tobacco industry and how it pursues profit at the expense of public health.
Experts from the University of Bath and further afield discuss the progress made in countering Big Tobacco, and what lessons can be learned when challenging other harmful industries.
The first three episodes are now available to listen, with one of the subsequent five episodes being released each week.
