David Clelland is a former Labour MP for Tyne Bridge (1985-2010).

In June 2009, he was criticised for campaigning against Government plans to ban the display of cigarette packets in shops and newsagents without declaring a family link to a senior lobbyist for the Tobacco Retailers Alliance.[1]
